We missed Sunday because of the time change; it’s a 9.5 hour time difference. We stayed in a hotel in Frankfurt for a couple of hours, since we had a layover, and an additional 4.5 hour flight to Tehran.
We arrived around 12:30 am. We got VIP treatment from the Iranians as they gathered our luggage while we enjoyed snacks in the lounge. The Iranian people couldn’t have been nicer. Its 3 am now and we have a flight in the morning where the world cup event is being held. Flight is at 11 am and it’s about an hour flight. I am trying to get some sleep.
